Product Talk: New Fall 2023 Releases

Product Talk: New Fall 2023 Releases

The end of summer can create mixed emotions. Goodbye sweltering heat, hello plunging temperatures. Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum, we think there’s a reason to rally behind the changing season. We’re dropping brand-new Fall/Winter pieces that will round out your layering options to make the transition even easier. We sat down with Aaron Atwell, TRUEWERK’s Director of Enterprise Sales, to discuss the purpose, philosophy, and performance benefits of these additions and how they fit into the workwear system.

INNOVATION AT ITS BEST

At TRUEWERK, we are constantly innovating to develop the highest-performance workwear for trade professionals. If there’s a way to engineer exactly what you might need on the job site, chances are we’re already working on it. “We’ve chosen to use highly technical fabrics for all of our garments that tradespeople wear in active conditions. When you put on TRUEWERK workwear, it’s different from throwing on just a t-shirt and hoodie,” says Aaron. “The fabrics are purpose-built with specific functions in mind that keep you in a flow state.” Before we introduce you to a few of our new favorites, let’s take a closer look at how you can wear them to reap the best performance benefits.

THE LAYERED APPROACH

Layering is the secret to conquering unpredictable weather on the job site. But we get it; all those layers can feel bulky and limit mobility. TRUEWERK does things differently. Each layer is designed to work seamlessly with the others without restricting movement or comfort. Base layers wick, mid layers insulate, and shell layers offer protection–all working cohesively to provide unmatched performance.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR WORKWEAR

We know that workwear isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why our Workwear System is entirely customizable to suit your climate and job site needs. Especially with our latest additions, you can build a unique system that’s more ready than ever to tackle any temperature and task that comes your way.

Let’s take a look at some highlights of our Fall/Winter 2023 additions.

TRUEWERK M1 Welterweight Hoodie

M1 Zip Up Hoodie:

Meet the undisputed champ of lightweight comfort. If you’re looking for an extra layer with light insulation, this all-weather classic has your back, adding stretch and ease without the sweat. It's highly versatile for days that start cool--just push up the sleeve or zip it down to ventilate as the afternoon warms up. Features include hand-warming pockets, an interior cell phone slot, an adjustable hood, and an anti-pilling treatment. With a slightly roomier fit, you can wear it alone or easily layer it under a shell.

TRUEWERK M1 Harness Hoodie

M1 Harness Zip Up Hoodie:

This slim-cut, lightweight fleece hoodie is designed to fit comfortably under a climbing harness and is treated with an anti-pilling agent to resist pilling when it comes into contact with tree bark or the rough materials of harnesses or tool belts. A higher collar and scuba-style hood fit seamlessly under a hard hat. “This piece is nice and fitted, without hand pockets in the front, so you can avoid bunching when layering or simply wearing it under your harness,” Aaron explains. He also calls out the zippered chest pocket with a phone slot instead of hand pockets for ease of wear with a harness, in addition to performance features like an underarm gusset and elasticized sleeve cuffs. “You’ll love the mobility, comfort, and attention to safety on the job site.”

TRUEWERK M3 Woobie Jacket

M3 Woobie Jacket:

Designed for maximum warmth with minimal weight, this jacket is treated with a DWR to protect you from light rain and has a sweat-wicking liner that pulls moisture away from your body. It also features flexible stretch fabric for ultimate comfort and mobility. “I’m pretty stoked to get to introduce the M3 Woobie Jacket. It’s one of my favorites,” Aaron says. “It’s a heavier mid layer, designed to insulate while worn alone or under a shell. One thing I love about it is the lack of a hood. It has that nice military-style collar that allows you to wear it on its own or underneath a hooded shell. I personally wear this a lot.”

TRUEWERK B2 Johnease

B2 Johnease:

“This is a really fun new product,” Aaron says. “The TRUEWERK Johnease. We have base layers for your top half. Now, we have base layers for your bottom half, too. Wear them under your T2s or T3s, and you’re good to go with a super comfortable base layer.” On top of that, they’re sweat-wicking, thermoregulating, and sit just above the ankle, making it easy to slide right into your favorite work boot.
