our direct first business model


As we launched Truewerk, it quickly became apparent that traditional retailers have lost their connection to the jobsite AND are charging outrageous mark-ups on the products they resell. 

We knew that prioritizing selling through big-box retailers would be too restrictive for us to reach the level of performance we sought to achieve with our new workwear. To overcome these limitations a new, more streamlined, approach would be needed.  

So like Tesla, Kuiu and others pushing the limits of technical performance, we're stepping around the middle-man retailers and working directly with our customers. 

This model enables us to offer:

A) UNBOUNDED PERFORMANCE

We have no limits on the performance of our workwear brought on by pre-determined retailer cost targets which limit design details, material selection and production techniques. 

B) PRODUCTS TO MARKET AS SOON AS THEY ARE READY

 We do not wait for bi-annual purchasing cycles that dictate 24 month+ development cycles. As soon as our products are ready, we make them available to you. 

C) A DYNAMIC CONNECTION WITH OUR CUSTOMERS
